Spencer S. Chaffin was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas and graduated from Grapevine Faith Christian School. He attended Charleston Southern University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in political science with a minor in history while serving as the Secretary/Treasurer and later Vice-President of the student body. Spencer went on to attend Oklahoma City University School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and was a member of the legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi.
