MY BACKGROUND
Each of us follows our own path - sometimes “the road less travelled by”. My own path helped me develop a different view than the mindset of an “old school lawyer”.
Perhaps your career involved many changes that allowed you to see things from various perspectives. My legal career path came after my experience as an Industrial Engineer working for Fortune 100 companies at the forefront of innovation.
Coming into law after working in businesses, I saw disappointing gaps in how most law firms follow archaic practices - and I see these gaps as opportunities to incorporate best practices like:
- providing a good experience for the client (a great experience and a great result),
- building relationships with clients (not driving for lots of clients with minimal engagement)
- providing a level of care that is personalized and focused on what is important to the client (not calling all the shots like we know what is best for you).
