Lawyer Profile

For nearly ten years, my job as a lawyer was to help businesses “win” in lawsuits. I put the word “win” in quotations, because generally the only real winners in a lawsuit are the lawyers, after taking into account the time, stress, and money spent by the parties.

My background includes many types of business-related litigation, including disputes between businesses, disputes between business partners, disputes with employees, and disputes with clients. I’ve seen it all, and from all angles. While I enjoyed a successful career as a litigation attorney, I ultimately became disillusioned with what I was seeing.

I wanted to serve as a counselor for my clients in the true sense of the word, guiding them to find strategic solutions that take into account their higher purpose, while simultaneously avoiding the heartache and financial devastation that often accompanies legal conflict and dispute.

This desire was the reason I founded Conscious Legal – a full-service law firm serving conscious business owners and entrepreneurs in California. Our Conscious Business Legal Services seek to anticipate and avoid the common pitfalls that often lead to legal conflict, and prevent small business owners from reaching their highest potential.
